Angels on Assignment, since 1999, is a non-profit volunteer-run organization that helps families dealing with serious illness, with a focus on children. We meet the 3rd Monday of each month at the Crete Township Hall at 6pm.

Crete Women's Club was founded in 1912. Our mission is to give back to the community through scholarships and philanthropic donations to various community and area organizations. Our largest fundraiser is our Garden Walk held at the end of June. Our second largest fundraiser is our Cookie Walk which is held during Crete Country Christmas weekend.
